I give you My Word In addition to the book, we feel led to minister to women - girls, mums and professional women in business ... ladies with specific needs. Just like men who also have specific needs, who need to be ministered to by other like minded men, we feel a burden to help ladies in a similar manner.
|
Barbara Pavey, founder of 'I give you My Word' has a real heart for women - who like herself, may have been through many trials and tribulations. God has brought her through to make 'her test her testimony'. She ministers with the grace and mercy that she has received (with love) from our saviour Jesus Christ. By ministering in the Holy Spirit, the mighty Comforter can deal directly with the 'cause' of pain and anxiety and not be distracted with the 'effects'. |

There are many issues we need to deal with in our life, we have outlined a few (below) that might just speak to you in some way. |
We welcome the opportunity to meet and pray with you, if it is appropriate. |
 |
looking for peace?
Finding life a let-down once the caffeine kick has lost its effect? High on drugs, low on life? Sense of chaos or disorder all around you? |
|
retail therapy is not the answer
We still have to face our problems so that they can be dealt with. Stores may promise no payment for 6 months, but like everything, payday always comes.

 |
worry and stress holding you back?
Anxiety can affect our life and our relationships. It can rob us of joy and weigh us down with care. If this is you, there is One Who came to ease those burdens and share the load.
Perhaps you need to adjust your thinking to line up with His Word

does the slightest thing get you angry?
We live in a blame culture, we are encouraged to get revenge. 'Don't get mad, get even' is the way of the world. Do you find that other people's incompetence gets you wound up? Ask the Holy Spirit to tell you why this keeps happening. Peace, peace, but you find none. Jesus encourages us to 'let' peace reign in our heart. If this is not the case, and all about is in conflict, then maybe we need some help. |
 |
 |
feel trapped, all around you is in chaos?
It is easy to blame others for how we are feeling, because they are closest. Sometimes the problem is actually closer than we may care to think ... us. If we are really honest, if we examine ourselves first, we will probably find that we are a part of the problem and not part of the solution. |
|
need a friend?
We all need a friend, someone to talk to. Maybe by sharing with someone you feel you can trust, God can unlock the door to Jesus becoming your best Friend, so you can have Him on tap any time you need Someone to share with, wherever you are. |
 |
|
family, fun and friendship put the balance back in your life
If your immediate reaction to 'why not come to the women's meeting?' is: 'I can't face anyone, all those happy faces' or 'what's the point, nothing ever changes in my life' or 'I don't need anyone', then going to the get-together is probably the best thing you should do. The Holy Spirit will prompt you when the time is right. If you can pray 'God help me overcome my pride and all my hang-ups, give me strength to go to this meeting, help people to be sensitive to how I am feeling', God will meet you where you are and grace you to take the necessary steps. |

Feel sorry for yourself?
This is a perfectly natural feeling, the question is where is the feeling coming from? The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, looking to see who he may devour.
If feeling sorry is a common feeling you have and regrets seem to go back years, then there may be a hidden snare, that only Jesus can minister to. |
|
We all need to be set free in one way or another.
Jesus came to set the captives free, to bind up the broken hearted and declare the acceptable year of the Lord. |

Friends
No greater love hath man (includes women), than that they lay down their life for a friend.
Jesus has done this for us, so we can be re-united with Him and live a life of freedom, liberty, peace, joy, fulfillment, ...
If you don't feel any or some of these feelings, then Jesus wants to set you free to enjoy the fruit of His Holy Spirit. |
|
work, rest and play
What else do we need? Well, Jesus wants us to have all those things, but this is not possible unless we can worship Him in spirit and in truth. The joy of the Lord is our strength, and we get this joy from praising Him, because He is worthy. You may not feel like praising God; if this is the case, then it might be worth investing some time in finding the real root of the problem. |
